The Happiest Place on Earth

You may think of Disneyland, but really Jackson Hole, Wyoming is my happiest place on Earth.

For the last 14 years my family has gathered there to go river rafting, sing around the camp fire, eat yummy treats and most of all enjoy being together.
I love everything about it. It is so beautiful, so relaxing, so fun!

It really is the best.

We were a bit nervous about camping with Cal for the first time. He is only 4 months old and sleeping in a tent in 45 degrees at night seemed a bit of a challenge.

Well, my fears were completely debunked by our little boy. He is one tough little mountain man. Actually, he LOVED being outside and never complained about sleeping in a tent. We even put socks on his hands to keep them warm- perfect!
He loved all of the attention from all of his doting counsins, aunts and uncles and grammy and grampy. The rapids were fabulous this year and Patrick surprised everyone by getting a helmet camera that is waterproof. We have never been able to record our adventures quite this way and it was a blast! After each run we would head back to camp and watch it on Patrick's laptop. How totally cool!

There are no cell phones, no internet... just time with each other and I love every second of it!
