I believe I can fly...

My Nephew, Johnny, is pretty amazing! This weekend he had a gymnastics competition in St. George. We all traveled down for the event and my parents were able to travel up from Cali with Mindy's kids. We had a blast... all 12 of us! We ate way too much, only slept a little and had a great time being together. The only disappointment was that time went too quickly!

There were 9 boys in Johnny's level (level 7) and the age limit was 18 years old. Being only 11, he had his competition cut out for him! Johnny shined in all 6 events, receiving a first place and several second and third place metals. Then the overall award was given and we were thrilled that Johnny took second place. His coach came up to us to show us the final scores of all the contestants and we found out that Johnny missed first place by .2 points... not 2 points, just .2!! We were so proud of him! He did a fantastic job.
